From Stray to Star (Exhibit, Moldova)

I’m incredibly proud to be part of this meaningful project! THIS is why I do what I do!

A few months ago, I visited Moldova with FOUR PAWS and local rescue Doctor Vet Moldova to photograph over 30 rescued dogs—some now adopted, while others still wait for their forever homes.

In partnership with the Municipality of Chișinău, these photos are now on display at the beautiful National Museum of History of Moldova, in an unprecedented exhibition celebrating the beauty and resilience of these dogs and highlighting the urgent need to protect them.

Moldova faces a significant challenge with overpopulation of dogs and a lack of adoption culture. We hope this exhibit inspires people to see strays as the loving companions they are, and to get involved in efforts to ease their suffering and find lasting, humane solutions.

FOUR PAWS and Doctor Vet Moldova are already working hard on the ground, implementing a CNVR approach. They are giving these dogs their best hope for a brighter future. I’ve photographed their work and written about it on my website.
